10:00 AM - 11:00 AMPractical Halacha: A Text-Based Study of Jewish Daily Living In this course, we’ll explore how Jewish practice developed across time into our lived tradition. Over the course of the year, we will study a new aspect of practical halacha in the following four topics: kashrut, obligation, prayer, and Passover. By exploring texts that show the halachic process in action, we will gain new insights and wrestle with the old age question, what does it mean to live a meaningful Jewish life. Open to all levels and knowledge backgrounds, sources will be provided in both Hebrew and English, with guided support to ensure everyone can engage meaningfully. Whether you’re new to texts or more experienced, this course is for you.
October/November: Laws of the Kitchen: Do We Really Need Two of Everything?
