Shabbat 2.0 (for families)

We are proud to offer a new interactive Shabbat experience for learners of all ages.  It features singing, plays, prayers, snacks and an opportunity to learn why we pray as we do.

Diaspora Identities (for adults)

With Judith Gerson, Ph.D. Professor of Sociology, Women’s Studies and Jewish Studies, Rutgers University
Using feminist theories of intersectionality, and relying on archival evidence as well as in-depth interviews, Prof. Gerson analyzes how German Jewish immigrants who arrived in New York between 1933 and 1941 understood various aspects of their identities.

Shoah Memorial (for all ages)

At the JCC of Middlesex County
Our community’s annual memorial for the Holocaust includes members and clergy of Neve Shalom and  features readings, songs, talks, archival displays, and candle lighting.

Multiple Minyanim (for all ages)

Share your creativity with us!  There are as many ways to make Shabbat meaningful as there are people in our community. Attend Bibliodrama led by Rabbi Rosin at 10:30am in the Sanctuary.  Bring your family members and friends and be a part of this unique experience.  All will join together in the Sanctuary for Musaf followed by Kiddush in the Ballroom.

Shabbat with Neve (for all ages)

At these community dinners and services we invite you to eat, laugh, sing, pray, and learn with us!  Let’s come together to share a meal, meet new friends, laugh with old friends, and experience a vibrant Shabbat service.

Confirmation (for families) & Shavuot Night of Study (for adults)

The 10th grade students will chant the holiday service, read parts of the Book of Ruth, and share some of their own writings about Jewish experiences. Later in the evening, a Night of Study will include discussions led by congregants and clergy.  Additionally, join us for Shavuot morning and evening services.
