Neve Shalom is committed to lifelong Jewish learning and offers a wide variety of educational experiences for its entire congregational community.
Neve Shalom is particularly proud of its Adult Education programs. The
program recently received the Solomon Schechter Silver Award from the
United Synagogue as one of the finest adult education programs in the
country. One Friday evening service each month features an outstanding
guest speaker. Each year a world renowned Scholar-in-Residence delivers several
sessions over the course of a weekend. Courses span the spectrum from Beginner
Hebrew to Advanced Talmud. Especially popular is a course given by the Rabbi on
Sunday mornings. Adult Education offers mini-courses in members' homes and
community programs such as the annual Book and Author Event.
Periodically,
a two year study program is offered leading to an adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
We offer a full range of schools and classes for Jewish
